Monolith's next game will probably not be Shadow of Mordor 3, however, since ( minor spoiler alert!) Shadow of War ended with a pretty definitive end to main character Talion's story. It's an excellent and clever system that we can't wait to see in more games.

Nemesis is the system in both Monolith's Middle-Earth titles where enemies can "remember" the main player character, and gain stronger and more powerful depending on how many encounters with that enemy they've had. This is the first confirmation we have had that the Nemesis system will be used in Monolith's next title. This specifically asks for someone "focused on creating believable human characters that will interact with the player in our next Nemesis system based game". While we admit this is slightly tenuous, we ourselves have spotted something in a different job listing, for Principal Technical Artist in Characters.

PCGamesN spotted a job listing page for Senior Game Writer for Monolith's next game - and it specifically asks for someone with "a love of fantasy and science fiction genres", suggesting that their next project may be sci-fi instead.
